If you experience any problems when logging on to the PSP, contact Primavera Online Technical Support via email (support@primaveratech.org ) or call us at 480-456-6678, Ext. 4015.
Recommended Internet Browsers
- Windows Internet Explorer 7.0 or later
- Mac OS X Safari 3.0 or later
- Mozilla Firefox 3.0 or later
NOTE: Whether you are using a Windows computer or a Mac, if you are having problems running the PSP, we suggest you try using the Firefox browser. Go to www.firefox.com, click the “Free Download” button and follow the instructions to download and install it.
Installing Adobe Flash Player
The PSP requires the latest Adobe Flash Player, version 9.0.124 or above:
- If your PSP doesn’t allow you to log-in or it stalls as it loads or it doesn’t seem to work right, it may prompt you to install the latest version of Flash.
- If you’re experiencing any of the above problems, go to the Adobe Flash Player site, click on the “Agree and install now” button and follow the instructions to install the latest version of Flash, even if your internet browser does not request it.
- If you are not able to install Flash, you probably don't have permission to change the computer system you are using.
- Find someone (one of your parents, for example) who is an "Administrator" or has “Administrative” rights on your computer and ask that person to install Flash for you.
After you update Adobe Flash Player, you must clear your internet browser’s cache or the Temporary Internet Files and Cookies, depending on which browser you use.
Clearing your Internet Browser’s Cache or the Temporary Files and Cookies
Depending on what Operating System (Windows or Mac) you have and what internet browser (Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox) you use, follow one of these instructions:
- Windows Internet Explorer 7.0 or later
- Tools menu → Internet Options → Click on the “Delete” button → Click on both the “Delete files” and on the “Delete cookies” buttons → Close the “Delete Browsing History” box and click on the “OK” button to close the Internet Options
- Mac OS X Safari 3.0 or later
- Safari menu → Empty Cache → Click on the “Empty” button
- Mozilla Firefox 3.0 or later
- Tools menu → Clear Private Data → Select/Check Cache, Cookies and Offline Website Data → Click on the “Clear Private Data Now” button
After you’ve made the above changes to your system, close all internet browser windows and start a new internet browser session to log back in to your PSP.
Disabling Pop-up or Ad Blockers
If you are using pop-up or ad blockers, you must also disable them or configure them to allow pop-up windows from the Primavera sites (i.e. primaveratech.org):
- Windows Internet Explorer 7.0 or later
- Tools menu → Pop-up Blocker → Make sure it says “Turn on Pop-up Blocker” or Click on “Turn off Pop-up Blocker” ; or
- Tools menu → Internet Options → Privacy tab → Uncheck “Turn on Pop-up Blocker”
- Mac OS X Safari 3.0 or later
- Safari menu → Make sure “Block Pop-up Window” is unchecked or Click on “Block Pop-up Window” to uncheck it; or
- Safari menu → Preferences → Security icon → Uncheck “Block Pop-up Window”
- Mozilla Firefox 3.0 or later
- Tools menu → Options → Content icon → Uncheck “Block Pop-up Window”
Other products on your computer (such as Symantec or Norton, McAffee, AVG, or TrendMicro, for example) may include pop-up or ad blockers. You may also have to disable these or configure them to allow pop-up windows from the Primavera sites (i.e. primaveratech.org).
Other Issues
- Firewalls and Security Suites (such as Symantec or Norton, McAffee, AVG, or TrendMicro, for example) may also interfere with your internet browsing and your overall computer’s performance. To prevent these issues from occurring, either avoid using these products when you’re at the Primavera sites or configure them to exclude the Primavera sites (i.e.primaveratech.org).
- If you connect to the Internet via AOL or Yahoo or a similar service, you may have other security, blocking and/or proxy settings problems. Avoid using the custom browsers of these services to start your PSP session; instead, after connecting and logging-in to your service (if required), start a brand new internet browser window (click on the Start menu and click on a regular Internet Explorer or Firefox icon) and log back in to your PSP.
